Right to Know Requests During COVID-19 State of Emergency

During the COVID-19 state of emergency, the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records has issued the following advisory:

“Requesters: Unless you have an urgent need to access records, please do not file any new RTKL requests at this time. Additionally, in most cases, inspecting records will not be possible during the emergency; if a request is necessary, please seek copies of records (preferably electronic).”

Please also note that any day on which the municipal office is closed shall not count towards the statutory deadline for responding to a request for records. The Open Records Officer will process any requests in the order received, and only on days when the municipal office is open for business.”

The Township offices have been closed since Friday, March 13th and will remain closed until further notice.

Thanks for your patience. Stay healthy
