2024 Dog Licenses Are Now Due
As the New Year approaches, it’s easy to get swept up in the busyness of the holiday season. If a dog is a member of your family, don’t let the hustle and bustle cause you to neglect having your pup licensed.

Dog licenses are valid from January 1 to December 31 for the current year, and all dogs three months or older must be licensed by January 1st regardless of when a license was purchased in the previous year.

Licensing your dog is the law and the most effective way to ensure their safety. Nearly 9,000 lost pets in Pennsylvania have been reunited with their owners thanks to their being licensed.

Annual Dog Licensing Fees are $6.50 for dogs that are neutered or spayed and $8.50 for those that are not. If you are a senior or have a disability, fees are $4.50 for dogs who are spayed or neutered and $6.50 for those who are not.

You can purchase an annual dog license online or in person at the Delaware County Treasurer’s office in Media. Learn more about how to obtain a license for your dog at https://www.delcopa.gov/treasurer/dob.html or by calling 610-891-4276.

The Public Works Garage will be open Saturday, May 4th from 8am-12pm for yard waste drop-off. All brush stick and brush must be bundled!
