PennDOT – District 6 News: Aqua Pennsylvania Utility Improvement to Close Wallingford Road/Plush Mill Road in Springfield, Nether Providence Townships

Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing water main construction on Wallingford Road/Plush Mill Road in Springfield and Nether Providence townships, Delaware County, beginning Monday, September 30.

 

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Monday, September 30, through Friday, January 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Wallingford Road/Plush Mill Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Baltimore Pike and Rogers Lane. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Baltimore Pike, Turner Road, and Plush Mill Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

 

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Yard waste pick-up this Saturday, Oct 5th at the Public Works Garage from 8am-12. All brush and sticks must be bundled to meet the regulations of our disposal site.
