Waste Committee
The Township Board of Commissioners has established a committee to evaluate and make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners about the current and future state of residential waste collection and recycling in the Township culminating in a public report. Areas of review can include ancillary residential waste-related concerns including yard waste, composting and leaf collection if the committee so chooses. The committee will hold public meetings the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month and will be looking for input from residents.

NPT Waste & Recycling Community Survey
As part of a regular examination of best practices for the residents in our community, Nether Providence Township has convened a committee of residents and commissioners to examine all of the waste and recycling programs that service our township. One goal of this committee is to evaluate the complex issue of whether our current system of collection is optimal for residents. As part of the information gathering process, this committee is seeking input and feedback from stakeholders. It has already met with and received important information from each of the haulers and now the committee is asking residents to respond with information that is important to them.
This survey is only one part of a broader information-gathering process and the committee is still in the early stages of examining this issue. No decisions have been made and there are no pending recommendations to the Board of Commissioners as yet. Thank you for participating and providing input into this survey.
