Route 101: Providence Rd. Station
Interlocking Track & Maintenance Construction
Friday, January 11 at 8:00 PM – Monday, January 14 at 4:00 AM
Friday, January 18 at 8:00 PM – Monday, January 21 at 4:00 AM
Shuttle Buses Will Replace All Route 101 Trolleys between 69th St. Terminal and Media (Orange Street)
For consecutive weekends, Friday, January 11 at 8:00 PM – Monday, January 14 at 4:00 AM and Friday, January 18 at 8:00 PM – Monday, January 21 at 4:00 AM SEPTA and third-party forces will be performing track construction and maintenance work along the Route 101 Trolley Line. Track work between SEPTA’s Beatty Rd. Station and Providence Rd. Station will require work to be performed during nighttime hours. Residents in the area may notice construction noise and vehicle sounds, including backup alerts, and construction lighting.
*During this period of construction work, Providence Rd. Station parking lot will be CLOSED.
During this period of weekend work, buses will replace all Route 101 Trolleys between 69th St. Terminal and Media (Orange Street). Customers should plan for approximately 15 minutes of additional travel time and look for signage at stations for bus boarding locations. Residents, pedestrians and motorists are reminded to be aware of their surroundings near construction work and observe all posted signage regarding bus location pick up and drop off.
