Passing of Chief Clancy

We are sad to report that Chief Robert Clancy passed away on December 25th. Chief Clancy was a sixty-five year member of the South Media Fire Company who served for well over forty of those years in a leadership capacity.  As current South Media Fire Company President Robert Hopkins says, “He was a valued presence in our Company throughout that time; a man who taught many of us valuable lessons, and inspired us through his own dedication and selfless service.  We all grieve alongside his family, to whom we will offer our full support.” Chief Clancy also served as Code Enforcement officer for the Township for several years.

We will miss Chief Clancy, and we are forever grateful for his impact on the community.

The Public Works Garage will be open Saturday, May 4th from 8am-12pm for yard waste drop-off.
