E. Possum Hollow Rd – One Way Between 252/Kershaw

The East Possum Hollow Sidewalk project is finally getting underway, and we anticipate it will begin the week of March 21st (weather permitting). We had to deal with delays from the contractor, which their state contract allowed them to do, but now they are ready to begin the project.

As a reminder, during the construction phase, East Possum Hollow Road will convert to one-way travel. Traffic will proceed eastbound from Providence Road towards the train station. While inconvenient, we are hopeful any short-term aggravation will be made up for in a long-term benefit of improved pedestrian safety and access. The detour will be in place until at least mid-May, and possibly longer depending on conditions.

E. Possum Hollow Road's sidewalk project is nearly complete. The Township is waiting for the paving contractor to return to pave the road. Once the road is repaved, the center line will be shifted, and the road will be opened to two-way traffic. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
